<p>隨著AR眼鏡朝向輕量化、高透光率及大視場角發展，以衍射光波導（Diffractive Waveguide）為核心的 AR Grating 技術已成為主流光學架構之一。其透過奈米級光柵結構控制光線傳播方向，使虛擬影像能在極薄的玻璃基板內完成導光與成像。AR光波導的運作機制主要可分為三個階段：</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>耦入（Input Coupling）</strong><br />
透過耦入光柵改變入射光角度，使光線進入玻璃基板並形成全反射傳輸。</li>
<li><strong>擴瞳（Pupil Expansion）</strong><br />
利用轉向光柵進行光束複製與擴展，增加Eyebox範圍並提升觀看體驗。</li>
<li><strong>耦出（Output Coupling）</strong><br />
透過耦出光柵將光線導出波導，並將虛擬影像投射至人眼視野中。</li>

<h3>跨平台模擬與最佳化架構</h3>
<p>本專案採用跨尺度、多軟體協同模擬架構，將不同層級的光學分析工作分配至最適合的模擬平台執行。</p>
<h4>Lumerical</h4>
<p>Lumerical主要負責光柵微結構建模，並將分析結果轉換為SPEOS可讀取之JSON結構檔案，建立完整結構資料庫。</p>
<h4>SPEOS</h4>
<p>SPEOS負責光學模擬，利用Lumerical所建立的結構，建構完整AR光波導系統並模擬最終出光表現。</p>
<h4>OptiSLang</h4>
<p>OptiSLang則作為最佳化平台，整合Lumerical與SPEOS模擬流程。透過Python控制，自動切換不同結構組合並執行大量設計點分析。</p>
<h3>AR Grating最佳化工作流程</h3>
<p>本研究建立完整自動化工作流程如下：</p>

<h3>案例研究：二維擴瞳光波導系統</h3>
<p>本研究以二維擴瞳（2D Pupil Expansion）光波導架構作為驗證案例。<br />
系統配置包含：</p>
<ul>
<li>1組耦入光柵</li>
<li>3組轉向光柵</li>
<li>5組耦出光柵</li>
</ul>
<p>透過多組光柵共同作用，使輸入光束能夠在波導中逐步擴展並均勻分布於觀察區域，目標為在光效率與亮度均勻度之間取得最佳平衡。</p>

<p>為提高最佳化效率，本研究首先利用Lumerical建立光柵結構資料庫。<br />
不同光柵結構經由RCWA分析後，將其衍射特性、角度響應及光學效率整理為JSON格式資料檔。<br />
此結構庫作為後續SPEOS模擬之輸入來源，使系統能快速切換不同光柵設計，而無須重新建立電磁模型。</p>

<p>提升使用者實際可見影像亮度。</p>
<h4>亮度差異最小化</h4>
<p>降低九點量測中最大值與最小值之差異，提升顯示均勻性。<br />
透過OptiSLang可同時考量兩項目標，尋找最佳折衷解（Trade-off Solution）。</p>

<p>完成設計點分析後，OptiSLang利用AMOP（Adaptive Metamodel of Optimal Prognosis）建立代理模型，快速預測設計空間中的性能變化。</p>
<p>分析結果顯示：</p>

<li>設計點47</li>
<li>設計點77</li>
<li>設計點24</li>
<li>設計點1</li>
</ul>
<p>均為較具代表性的候選方案。<br />
其中設計點47在維持高亮度的同時，具備較佳的均勻度表現，因此成為最佳候選方案。</p>

<p>比較各設計方案模擬結果可發現：</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>設計點1：</strong>作為初始設計方案，中央區域仍存在明顯亮度不均現象。</li>
<li><strong>設計點24：</strong>均勻度表現最佳，但平均亮度下降幅度較大，導致整體光效率降低。</li>
<li><strong>設計點77：</strong>平均亮度有所提升，但局部區域仍存在亮度不均問題。</li>
<li><strong>設計點47：</strong>兼顧亮度與均勻度兩項指標，在整體性能表現上最具優勢。</li>
</ul>
<p>結果亦顯示平均亮度與均勻度之間存在明顯Trade-off關係，符合光學系統設計的一般物理現象。</p>

<h3>結論</h3>
<p>本專案成功整合Ansys Lumerical、Ansys SPEOS及Ansys OptiSLang三套平台，建立完整的AR Grating光波導最佳化流程。</p>
<p>透過Lumerical建立光柵結構資料庫、SPEOS執行系統級光學模擬，以及OptiSLang進行自動化多目標最佳化分析，有效縮短設計週期並提升設計效率。</p>
<p>研究結果顯示，平均出光效率與照明均勻度之間存在明顯的制衡關係，需透過系統化最佳化方法尋找最佳平衡點。其中設計點47於亮度與均勻度表現上取得最佳綜合成果，驗證本研究所建立之跨平台設計流程具備良好的工程實用性與應用價值。</p>

<p>隨著人工智慧、高速運算（HPC）及資料中心技術快速發展，光通訊系統對於高速、低功耗及高頻寬光調變器的需求日益提升。Mach-Zehnder Modulator（MZM）因具備優異的調變效率及良好的高速傳輸能力，已成為矽光子（Silicon Photonics）技術中的重要元件之一。<br />
然而，Mach-Zehnder Modulator的設計涉及光學、電學及系統層級等多重物理效應，單一模擬工具難以完整評估其性能表現。</p>
<p>Mach-Zehnder Modulator（MZM）是一種利用干涉原理實現光訊號調變的光學元件。其運作方式為將輸入光分為兩條光路，透過外加電壓改變其中一路或兩路波導的折射率，進而造成相位差變化，最終於輸出端形成不同強度的光訊號。<br />
Traveling Wave Mach-Zehnder Modulator則進一步導入行波電極（Traveling Wave Electrode）設計，使射頻訊號與光訊號能同步傳輸，以提升高頻操作能力及降低訊號失真。此類結構廣泛應用於高速光收發模組、資料中心互連及共同封裝光學（Co-Packaged Optics, CPO）等領域。</p>

<h3>Ansys Lumerical&#038; OptiSLang方案Workflow</h3>
<p>本專案導入ANSYS Lumerical多模組平台，並結合OptiSLang最佳化技術，建立跨平台整合模擬流程，以提升元件設計效率並縮短產品開發週期。<br />
由於Mach-Zehnder Modulator涉及半導體載子效應、光波導傳輸及射頻訊號傳播等不同物理機制，因此本專案採用ANSYS Lumerical多平台協同模擬方式進行分析。<br />
整體流程整合：</p>

<h3>Ansys Lumerical Mode &#038; Multiphysics串聯應用</h3>
<p>首先利用CHARGE模組分析PN Junction中的載子分布情形，再將結果匯入MODE模組進行折射率變化及射頻特性分析，最後透過INTERCONNECT建立系統層級模型驗證元件性能。<br />
OptiSLang則負責串接各模組分析結果，建立自動化參數分析與最佳化流程，進一步提升設計效率。</p>

首先建立包含PN Junction及行波電極的元件模型，透過電學模擬獲得載子分布資訊；接著分析折射率變化對光波傳播的影響；最後建立系統模型評估訊號傳輸品質。<br />
透過此流程可有效串聯不同物理場分析結果，建立完整且具工程實用性的設計驗證架構。</p>

<p>本研究以RF速度與光群速度匹配為最佳化目標。<br />
當兩者速度差異越小，訊號傳輸失真越低，調變器頻寬表現亦越佳。<br />
因此OptiSLang將速度差異設定為主要目標函數進行最佳化分析。</p>

完成敏感度分析後，OptiSLang利用多種最佳化演算法進行搜尋，包括：</p>

<p>在AI高速大量運算環境下，MICRO LED在功率、頻寬、環境溫度、成本優勢下，讓MICRO LED有機會在短距離傳輸上與雷射或VSCEL之外，成為AI大量且高速傳輸的決方案選項之一。<br />
但MICRO LED在光型上較為擴散，需要透過奈米等級的Meta Lens結構將光型收斂以提升耦合進Fiber的需求。台灣具有完整的Micro LED產業聚落，加上近年在Grating &amp; Meta Lens等奈米等級加工技術演化前進。進一步實現了Micro LED在CPO發光模組的定位。</p>

<h3>Ansys Lumerical&amp; OptiSLang方案Workflow&amp;架構</h3>
<p>Ansys Optics中的Lumerical FDTD可以建構Meta Lens的精微結構，並考量到Micro LED中不同位置Dipole發光樣貌。但要優化Meta Atom來適應不同位置Dipole的發光樣貌，就需要具有多目標與多變量的優化工具來進行輔助。</p>

<p>Ansys OptiSLang具有上述多目標與多變數的優化特性，更能夠提供AMOP，NLPQL，ARSM不同演算法的選擇，取得可以收斂的參考指標，讓工程師在伊化過程中能循序找到最適應的方向，並確保取得完整變數區域的優化樣貌。透過響應面的分析，在不同指標下呈現給工程師最佳選擇。這樣的具有AI功能的優化方案有別於以往單一方向尋優的方法，更提高優化品質與更多元的優化選擇。</p>

<p>透過不同節點位置的Dipole位置，並計算出覆蓋面積並轉化為百分比用以設定權重。再將個別Dipole的位置進行FDTD的運算模擬，在計算10度內與總功率的比值。最後使用面積權重進行非相干加權獲得整體的T10 Ratio。</p>

<p>由於本專案每一次 Lumerical FDTD 模擬都需要較長時間，因此在選擇 OptiSlang 優化演算法時，不能一開始就使用需要大量樣本的全域搜尋方法。像 EA、PSO 或 CMA 雖然具有較好的全域搜尋能力，但計算成本會非常高。因此目前較適合的策略是先使用 ARSM，透過響應面模型用較少的模擬次數找出可能的最佳區域。</p>

<p>未整合超透鏡的 MicroLED 出光場型較為發散，光能量分布於較大的角度範圍內；而在整合並優化超透鏡後，MicroLED 的出射光場明顯受到調控，大部分光能量能有效集中於 10° 光錐角內。</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">半導體加工檢測設備再過去10年在台灣因為台灣多家半導體上下游大廠的大量投資，有效拉動相關技術的變革升級與有更嚴苛的要求。過往在檢測與加工設備都沿用經驗值來進行開發與設計。<br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">但隨著半導體產品精度推向微奈米等級，以往使用經驗值加上Try&amp; Error在開發要求與時程與成本控制上明顯會有困擾與衝突。透過軟體的模擬分析進而優化以提高研發品質是必然的方案。Ansys Zemax涵蓋成像光學的多項量化指標如光路、MTF、Spot diagram、成像優化解決方案。具有強大的優化與可程式輸入及親切視窗介面特性。</span></p>
<h2>分光鏡設定</h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">在半導體的加工或是檢測時經常需要提取光源中特定的譜段區間，來進行不同指定譜段光線的混合以產生指定譜段的光線。<br />
</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">或將不同光源產生之特定譜段進行提取，再進行混合之後來強化指定譜段光線之能量。使用Zemax的非序列模式進行不同偏振模式下的coating設定。以達到過濾不同頻譜區間的光線進行穿透或是反射的作用機制。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">在半導體雷射加工應用中。可以載入特殊光路架構之鏡組例如：F-theta Lens，再進行其他相應光學元件的優化設計。能將所有系統光路由雷射光源涵蓋被加工之工件的完整光路系統。</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Zemax的序列光模式，方便讓工程師輸入每一鏡片的尺寸特徵。並能及時產生相應的光跡作用現象。並取相關需要變化的參數進行後續優化的準備。</span></p>
